Each year in Wake County, nearly 4,000 children experience homelessness. Family Promise of Wake County is working to bring that number down to zero.
Transforming the lives of families experiencing temporary homelessness by providing support services and moving them into safe, affordable, permanent housing in our community.
Since 1993, Family Promise has provided services to 1,500 Wake County families. With the expertise of our full-time staff of social workers, assistance from more than 2,000 volunteers and support from more than 50 partner congregations, we help families regain their independence through shelter, meals, case management and educational services.
Family Promise's mission is to transform the lives of children and families experiencing temporary homelessness by helping them find support services and safe, affordable, permanent housing in our community.
